Zoe Mapp

Zoe Mapp is a documentary filmmaker and co-founder of Mappope productions. She has worked as a director, producer, editor and in sound recording and postproduction. Having completed a degree in Film Production from Concordia University in 2008, she is currently producing a short fiction with Director Elinor Svoboda and a feature length Documentary with Jeanne Pope titled, ‘It Ain’t All Over Til The Pink Lady Sings’.

Jeanne Pope

Is Eurasian, and brought up in Britain. She arrived in Montreal in 2000 after spending twenty years working her way around the world, picking up a few nationalities and marriages on the way. She has a real passion for people, especially those on the edge. She has written several short stories that were adapted for (to) film taken from her travels and encounters.

The transition to film occurred after her meeting with the Montreal sculptor, Stanley Lewis who became her mentor. She put herself through the Mel Hoppenhiem film school graduating in 2008 with distinction.

Pope is currently directing her first feature length documentary on the life and times of Stanley Lewis.
